ZTools: most of its tools leave your file on your machine
- Web
- Android
- Browser extension
ZTools is a set of text, image, PDF and code tools on the web, on Android and as a browser extension, and most of them run in your browser with no sign-up. The few heavy tools that need our server delete your file right after the job. We built it, and we still run it in all those places.
What is ZTools?
A toolbox for the small jobs that interrupt real work: cleaning up text, resizing an image, merging a PDF, formatting code. The site sorts them by kind, from text and image to code, data, math and generators, and the list reaches past developer work into SEO, finance, health and design tools for the people who use those every day.
Who is ZTools for?
Developers, creators and marketers who need one tool for one minute and don’t want an account for it. Open the tool, do the job, close the tab.
What did we build?
A toolbox that travels. The web app and the Android app reach it, and the Chrome extension, listed in the Chrome Web Store under the Zaions developer name, carries the text and utility tools.
Most tools run in your browser, so their files never leave your device. The heavy ones that use our server ask for a Google sign-in first, and they delete your file right after the job. The site says which is which, and so do we.
Its icons, store graphics and promo videos came out of the same team, too.
Where can I check it?
Run one of the in-browser tools on a file and watch your browser’s network panel: the file never leaves your device.
Want something like ZTools built?
ZTools had to behave the same way on the web, on Android and in Chrome, and our Web apps and Browser extensions pages show how we plan that kind of reach before the first build.
Put where your users already are into the brief, or, if you’re still deciding, bring that question to a free call.
