Web apps and websites you click through at every milestone

We build marketing websites and web apps that run in the browser, and we hand you the working build at every milestone. You click through each build on your own phone, so a broken form turns up while there’s time to fix it. Launch starts from $1,000 for a marketing website, and your brief gets its own estimate.

The problem

You’ve paid for a website before. Or you’ve heard the stories.

The developer goes quiet for a month, then sends a link to something that only half works, hosted on an account you’ve never even seen. The usual fix is a weekly status email, and a status email can’t show you a broken sign-up form. A link can.

What you get

  • A marketing website, or a web app with sign-in and an admin panel, the screens where you manage users and content
  • A layout that works from a 320 px phone screen up to a wide desktop monitor
  • Search basics in place: page titles, descriptions, a sitemap
  • The site deployed, meaning live where your users can reach it
  • The code repository, where all your source code lives, in your name

How it runs

  1. The brief.

What the site must do, who uses it, what you already have.

  2. Plan and price.

You’ll see the plan, the price and the first milestone before we write a line of code.

  3. Milestones.

Each one ends with a link to the build. Testing happens inside every milestone, not as a phase at the end. At the first one you might sign in, open the home screen and try the main form on your own phone.

  4. Handover.

The repository, the hosting account, the domain settings and every password move into your name.

Scope changes halfway? We estimate the change in writing before we build it.

ClearHire runs at clearhire.aoneahsan.com: a resume builder, career tools and employment history a named company can confirm, most of it with no account. LabFlow is a laboratory information system for clinical labs, and FilesHub’s product site explains file storage and email for other developers’ backends. Open any of them before you decide.

What it costs

A marketing website falls under Launch, from $1,000; a web app with sign-in and an admin panel under Build, from $3,000. Either way your brief gets its own written estimate, which lists the hosting and third-party costs you’ll pay after launch, like the domain and any email service. We design for free tiers where your product allows.

A website tells people about your business; a web app lets them sign in and do something. Not sure which you need? Ask on the free call, and we’ll tell you which one costs you less.

You do. At handover the repository, the hosting account, the domain settings and every credential move into your name, as a standard term in every package we offer.
