Building it yourself with AI, or Zaions

AI app builders and no-code tools can put a working screen in front of you in an afternoon. We use AI agents too, so this comparison comes down to who checks the work.

What you get

You describe the app, the tool writes it, and you keep asking until it looks right. The first version costs very little, and you set the pace.

The hard parts come later: who can see whose data, payments that must never charge twice, an Android release that passes review, and code a developer can still read.

When this route is the better choice

Better for testing an idea before you spend on it.

Build it yourself when you want to test an idea before spending real money: a prototype to show investors, an internal tool for five colleagues, a weekend experiment. If it works, you’ll know what to put in a brief.

Bring what you made to the free call. A rough version you built yourself is one of the clearest briefs we get.

Where Zaions is different

AI agents write most of our code as well. The difference is that a person on the team decides what they build, reads every change and runs it before you see a milestone link.

We build the parts that are easy to skip when you’re moving fast: access rules in the database, payment checks on the server, an admin panel, and testing in every milestone.

You own the result. The repository and the accounts move into your name at handover, and nothing depends on staying subscribed to a tool.

What it costs with us

Launch starts from $1,000, Build from $3,000 and Team from $5,000 per month. Your brief gets its own written estimate.

What you can check

Our side of this page rests on the projects below. Each date comes from the project’s commit history or our own records, and each project has its own page here.

Trizlink

Short links, a link-in-bio page and social posts in one workspace, with one analytics layer across all three.

  1. First commit of the rebuild. The database and its access rules were tested against sample rows that day.

  2. The marketing pages, the blog, the legal pages and the prerendered HTML search engines read.

  3. The rebuilt app took over trizlink.com.

  4. Latest commit we checked. Still being worked on.

zaions.com

This site, planned, written, designed and rebuilt from nothing.

  1. The planning kit, the story for the site and the approved home page copy.

  2. docs.zaions.com went live.

  3. The design prototype was approved, and the rebuilt site took over zaions.com the same day.

  4. Moved to a new host.
