Developers by the hour, or Zaions

Some firms rent out developers by the hour or the month and leave the direction to you. With the right lead on your side, that’s flexible and quick to scale.

What you get

Named developers who join your process, take tasks from your board and bill for their time. You decide what they work on each day.

The plan, the priorities and the quality checks stay with you. The bill follows the hours, whether or not the hours moved the product.

When this route is the better choice

Better when you already have someone to direct them.

This model fits when you have a technical lead who writes the tasks and reviews the code, and you need more hands for a stretch of work.

It’s also a good way to add one skill your team lacks for a few months without changing how your team runs.

Where Zaions is different

You don’t manage developers here. You send the brief, and you get a written plan and a price before anyone writes code.

The estimate sets the price, not the clock. If the scope changes halfway, we estimate the change in writing first, and the price doesn’t move until you agree.

Each milestone ends with a working build you can click, and the project ends with the handover, with everything in your name.

What it costs with us

Launch starts from $1,000, Build from $3,000 and Team from $5,000 per month. Your brief gets its own written estimate.

What you can check

Our side of this page rests on the projects below. Each date comes from the project’s commit history or our own records, and each project has its own page here.

Trizlink

Short links, a link-in-bio page and social posts in one workspace, with one analytics layer across all three.

  1. First commit of the rebuild. The database and its access rules were tested against sample rows that day.

  2. The marketing pages, the blog, the legal pages and the prerendered HTML search engines read.

  3. The rebuilt app took over trizlink.com.

  4. Latest commit we checked. Still being worked on.

LabFlow

A laboratory information system for clinical labs: ordering, specimen custody, result validation and release.

  1. First commit.

  2. Latest commit we checked, more than 1,400 commits after the first.
